2026 Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 Revealed! Eco-Friendly Performance & Premium Design, Mileage and Price

Toyota has just unveiled the 2026 Land Cruiser LC300 with a exciting new hybrid powertrain. This update makes the big SUV more powerful and a bit more efficient, while keeping its legendary off-road strength. If you’re in markets like India, the Middle East or Australia, this is the full-size beast you’ve been hearing about.

First Look at the Design

The 2026 LC300 doesn’t change much on the outside. It still has that bold, rugged look with the big grille, strong lines, and high ground clearance that screams adventure. Toyota kept the classic boxy shape for better visibility and toughness. Inside, it’s luxurious as ever – premium leather seats, a large touchscreen, and lots of space for five people (or seven in some versions). New touches include better noise insulation for quieter rides and updated infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Key Features That Stand Out

This Land Cruiser is packed with tech and safety. You get adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, automatic emergency braking, and a 360-degree camera to make parking this big SUV easier. Off-road fans will love the full-time 4WD, locking differentials, crawl control, and multi-terrain select. Higher trims like GR Sport add sporty styling, special wheels, and tuned suspension for even better handling on rough paths. It’s built to go anywhere, from city roads to muddy trails.

Power and Big Mileage Boost

The big news is the new Performance Hybrid system. It pairs a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 petrol engine with an electric motor for a massive 457 horsepower and 790 Nm of torque. That’s way more than the older diesel version! It comes with a 10-speed automatic gearbox and can even run on electric power at low speeds for silent driving.

On mileage, the hybrid setup improves fuel efficiency compared to the pure diesel LC300. While exact numbers vary by market, expect around 10-12 kmpl in mixed driving – a nice bump for such a powerful SUV. The diesel-only version was about 11 kmpl, but this hybrid adds power without hurting economy too much. Plus, quicker throttle response makes it fun to drive.

Price Expectations

Pricing hasn’t been fully announced everywhere yet, but it’s premium. In Australia, top trims like Sahara ZX and GR Sport start over ₹1.2 crore equivalent, and the hybrid will add a bit more. In India, the current LC300 is around ₹2.1 to 2.25 crore ex-showroom. The 2026 hybrid might push it higher, maybe ₹2.3 crore onwards, since it’s imported and loaded with new tech. Launch is expected in the first half of 2026 in many places.
